‘I Promise, Roman Berezovsky Won’t Leave the Team’: Football Federation of Armenia President

Armenia’s national team very much needs a goalkeeper like Roman Berezovsky (pictured) and he still has three years to help the team, wrote Football Federation of Armenia President Ruben Hayrapetyan on his Facebook page.

“Dear football fans, I promise you all that Roman Berezovsky won’t leave the team,” he wrote. “God willing, only that he is free from injuries.”

The Armenian goalkeeper of Russian descent, in an interview with Russian-language news agency Regnum, said he will decide on his future in the Armenian team by next summer. “We have a great team And I would still like to play in it. But no one knows what lies ahead. I will make a decision closer to the summer. Let time pass. Let’s see how the situation plays out in Khimki [Russian football club in which Berezovsky plays].”

Note, a page called “Berezovsky, don’t go!” was created on Facebook yesterday. Currently, 2,596 people like the page.
