FC Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Mircea Lucescu, after the match with Tavriya in Ukraine’s Premier League, made a note of particularly mentioning Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s game.
Recall that the match ended 4-1 in Dotesk’s favor with Mkhitaryan being responsible for the fourth goal.
“It was a quite good, sensible game throughout the match. It is a pity that the goals were scored very late and that Andriy Pyatov made such a mistake. In the first half, we created opportunities, but, unfortunately, couldn’t convert them [into actual goals]… In the second half, everything changed after Adriano came on.
“We made five substitutions, compared with the previous match due to a tight schedule. I’m pleased with everyone, especially with Mkhitaryan, who played very well today,” he said, according to the FC Shaktar official website.
