The following was published in today’s issue of local Armenian-language daily Hraparak (“Square,” meaning, a gathering place).
Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) member Samvel Nikoyan, who headed the March 1 parliamentary committee and prepared a ignominious report, who after that became Deputy Chair of the National Assembly, yesterday, when our correspondent approached him and asked him to respond to her questions, in the presence of a few deputies, he attempted to appear “cool” and proposed to the young girl, “Let me go to the toilet; come there and ask your questions.”
Perhaps instead of this “toilet speaker’s” brain, it’s his stomach that works. Generally, it’s the process of devouring and digesting that is the most important process in the life of HHK members, and at the National Assembly, their activities are limited to going from the cafeteria to the toilet.
