Armenian Army Commanders Ordered to Keep An Eye on Health of New Recruits

Discussing with RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan the issues related to the 2010 autumn call for military service, the RA Armed Forces Chief of General Staff signed a decree which orders commanders of military units to personally have strict control over the organization of the adoption, preliminary medical examination, study of qualitative characteristics and the corresponding involvement in study programs of new recruits.

With the same decree, the RA Armed Forces Chief of General Staff also ordered the commanders to provide a detailed report on the health of new recruits once every 15 days, and to immediately inform the appropriate department if there any health issues have been detected, reads a press release issued by the RA Ministry of Defense.
