Orinats Yerkir party has made a decision to recall Minister of Agriculture Gerasim Alaverdyan, said Orinats Yerkir leader Artur Baghdasarayan at a press conference today adding that the decision was made yesterday at the party’s political council meeting.
Speaking about whether the decision was conditioned by the pressure exerted on the party, Baghdasaryan said that they do not so easily undergo pressure and added that it was their “political team’s decision”, which he had discussed with the President.
The name of the future Minister of Agriculture will become known after the New Year festivities. According to Baghdasaryan, there are some candidates but he didn’t mention their names.
