According to the FIFA World Ranking list published Jan. 12, 2010, Armenia falls in 60th place (with 515 points) — no change from its ranking on Dec. 15.
The first FIFA ranking of the year placed Spain at the top of the list, followed by the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil and Argentina. Of the South Caucasus countries, Georgia ranked 72nd (with 449 points) and Azerbaijan, 97th place (343 points).
The next ranking will be published on Feb. 2.
