A new workshop offered by the Women’s Resource Center of Armenia (WRCA) aims to encourage writers and poets to tell their story in more creative ways.
According to the group’s note on Facebook, the workshop “is meant to liberate the writer from the constrictions of autobiographical writing while creating work that can be experienced in new ways through style of writing, experimentation, poetic prose, and so on. The end goal is to perform some of our work in front of an audience, to put together a publication, and to heal through storytelling. The group will meet once a week for 2 hours. It will be both in Armenian and English.”
To get better acquainted with this program and for registration, interested participants are invited to come to an initial meeting on Jan. 14 at 6:30 pm at the WRCA at its new location on 14 Baghramyan Ave., 1st lane, apartment 106.
