Armenian Soldier Dead from Ceasefire Violation

At around 10 am on Jan. 20, around Horadiz on the Nagorno Karabakh—Azerbaijan Line of Contact, Azerbaijan once again violated the ceasefire regime and fired at Armenian soldiers, as a result of which Armenian Armed Forces soldier Hovik Mkrtich Sukiasyan died, Nagorno-Karabakh Minister of Defense press spokesperson Senor Hasratyan informed Epress.am.

“As a result of actions by the Armenian side, shooting from the opposing side have ceased. According to preliminary information, the Azerbaijani side has significantly greater losses,” he said.
