PHOTOS: Yerevan Residents Protest Construction of High-Rise Building in their Yard

Plans to develop a high-rise building in a yard shared by buildings on Teryan-Koghbatsi-Pushkin streets in Yerevan has become a contentious issue for building residents. They insist that the building does not meet standards of urban development.

Residents provided Epress.am with photos of what the area looked like a few months ago, prior to the start of construction. Also published by Epress.am are photos of how the area looks today.

Note the developer is the firm Local Developers, owned by the owner of H2 TV channel Samvel Mayrapetyan.
