Davtyan to Fight Against Corruption with Help of a Hotline

RA Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan today addressed the anti-corruption measures his ministry have taken.

“I am going to be quite tough and consistent, so that any corrupt practices are simply excluded from not only the central unit, but the entire system. I repeat, here I’m going to be tough and consistent, which everyone in the system already knows,” he said.

Moreover, Davtyan informed journalists that a hotline will be set up by the ministry.

“Through this [hotline], we’ll be able to get warnings from the population, the business world, our colleague, and, god forbid, anyone in the system attempts to prevent and create an artificial barrier in our activities with economic entities and the public,” he said.
