Clash Between Police, Demonstrators at Opposition March

At the start of the march following the Armenian National Congress rally earlier, a clash between police and demonstrators began.

The clash began after demonstrator asked police to walk in a single line and not in 2–3 parallel rows, which was resulting in dense “people traffic” among marchers.

Some demonstrators began to throw rocks in the direction of the police, after which the clashes began. Police snatched one of the demonstrators flags and throwing it on the ground, began to trample on it.

The tension has since eased and the march is slowly moving forward.
