The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun, or ARF-D) parliamentary faction expressed its indignation at events that unfolded this morning and early afternoon outside the Armenian government building.
“The peaceful demonstration by RA citizens aimed at protecting their rights was hindered by law enforcement officials through the use of force. RA citizens have suffered. Violence was applied toward RA National Assembly deputies endowed with immunity.
“We condemn what happened. We demand competent bodies to hold an impartial investigation, give a legal assessment to what took place and hold the guilty accountable,” reads the ARF-D statement issued today.
