The inevitable, and for many of today’s analysts and politicians predictable, collapse of the Russian colonial state is the main and necessary condition for genuinely resolving all ethnic and territorial conflicts in Nagorno-Karabakh, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, said leader of the sociopolitical movement “Free Caucasus” Ilyas Musayev in an interview with Newcaucasus.com.
According to him, Russia’s withdrawal from the Caucasus is the key to the peaceful democratic development of all Caucasian nations, since these nations “share a common history, culture, customs and traditions.”
“Without this fact, all attempts aimed at conflict resolution by international organizations and the global community will face very strong opposition from Russia,” he said.
