To mark International Women’s Day today, the Women’s Resource Center of Armenia organized a march to raise awareness of feminism among the public.
Marchers walked along Baghramyan Ave. down to Liberty Square, then along Northern Ave. to Republic Square, handing out balloons and leaflets on feminism to passers-by.
“We want people to know that feminism is not matriarchy. Feminism is the idea of equality between men and women,” the organizers told Epress.am.
