In the coming three days, all of Armenia will experience the effect of the cold front coming from the northeast, as a result of which the marzes (provinces) of Lori, Tavush and Syunik will experience mostly low temperatures, a drop of 8–10 degrees Celsius. This news was conveyed to Epress.am by head of meteorological forecasts at the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Hydrometeorology and Monitoring State Service Gagik Surenyan.
“On April 2, mainly the marzes of Tavush, Lori and Syunik will experience precipitation, while from [April] 3–4, the entire country will be under the influence of the cyclone, and there will be precipitation everywhere, in the form of rain, while wind speed will reach 15 meters per second,” said Surenyan.
According to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring State Service, there will be light rains in Yerevan also today, while in the coming three days, temperatures will fall to 4–6 degrees Celsius at night and rise to 17–19 degrees Celsius during the day.
