An earthquake took place in the Caspian Sea, 82 km north of Guba, at 9:50 am this morning, the National Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) said.
The earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale took place at a depth of 32 kilometers, reports Baku-based Trend news agency.
Tremors were not felt, the National Seismological Service Center noted.
