Over 100 Prisoners in Georgia to Get Parole Before Easter

Georgia’s Parole Board issued positive recommendations for over 100 prisoners, said the country’s Public Defender Giorgi (George) Tugushi after a recent meeting of the Parole Board.

The Board reviewed more than 330 cases, and issued additional recommendations to halve several prisoners’ terms, reports InterPressNews.

Tugushi stated that Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will sign the decision on parole release before the Easter holidays.
