Beginning the second half of yesterday, the price of gasoline in Yerevan went up again, writes local daily Haykakan Jamanak (“Armenian Times”).
“One liter of regular gasoline [petrol] instead of the previous 430 [drams] now sells for 450 drams. Premium costs 480 drams; super, 500 drams. To put it another way, in only one day, [the price of] gasoline in Armenia increased by about 5 percent. This is especially noteworthy in conditions of relative stability of the price of oil in the global market and the currency exchange rate. Note, the increase in petrol prices has considerable influence on the overall inflation rate,” reports Haykakan Jamanak.
