When participants of the march following the Armenian National Congress rally this evening arrived at Sakharov Square, a skirmish erupted between police and the youth at the front of the march; however, the incident was quickly settled. HAK activist youth urged fellow marchers to remain calm, asking people to keep their distance from police and not to have any contact with them.
Unlike other HAK rallies and marches, where numerous high-ranking police officials have been present, this time it was only chief of Armenia’s Police Patrol Valeriy Osipyan who was standing off to the side during this incident.
