The 5th IT Cup futsal tournament wrapped on May 15. In third place, Mentor beat Synopsys SEG (3-1), while the final match was fought on more equal ground — between Beeline and Questrade/Epress.am. The match ended in a 0-0 draw; however, the 10 minutes added at the end of the game determined the winner.
In the first 5 minutes, Beeline lost two good opportunities and then Questrade/Epress.am lost two opportunities. For one hour, neither team could score a goal — securing the only draw in the tournament. In the 6-meter kick at the end of the match, Questrade/Epress.am won the match with a final score of 3-2.
Questrade/Epress.am forward David Aryan (second photo) was recognized as the best striker and best football player in the tournament, while Beeline player Hovhannes Ghazaryan was recognized as the best defender and Beeline’s Harutyun Tonoyan (first photo) was named best goalkeeper. Creedence player Vahan Ghazaryan was named as the tournament’s most irreplaceable player.
