Turkey increased the volume of its arms sales in the period Jan.–Apr. 2011, reports Turkish daily Yeni Şafak. Compared to the same period last year, Turkey sold 11.2% more arms and ammunition this year — for a total sum of $91.2 million US.
As reported by the daily, the weapons were mainly sold to Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.
