Most likely a great number of fans will gather in Moscow to listen to French-Armenian chansonnier Charles Azanvour sing, reports Russian-language newspaper Novye Izvestia.
Aznavour also happens to be engaged in diplomatic work — he’s Armenia’s ambassador to Switzerland. As for which of his thousands of songs he’ll be singing to Moscow audiences is perhaps not so important, reports Novye Izvestia. There will be great interest in the concert. Well, where else would a diplomat perform but in the Kremlin? asks the paper.
Aznavour’s concert will be held on Aug. 30 and the price of tickets ranges from 2,000 to 32,000 Russian rubles (about $65 – $1,065).
