Putin, Kocharian Met in Yerevan, But Not in Moscow

A representative of the Russian government denied reports about a meeting between Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and former president of Armenia Robert Kocharian, reports Regnum news agency.

“There was no such meeting,” he said.

Earlier, Viktor Soghomonyan, head of the office of Armenia’s second president, had confirmed media reports that Putin and Kocharian had met.

“The meeting took place on May 24 at the residence of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin,” he said in an interview with Regnum.
