Armenian National Helped Uzbek Migrants Remain in Russia Illegally

Armenian national Gagik Grigoryan, 49, is being accused of organizing illegal migration and bribery. According to preliminary information, Grigoryan secured illegal stay for migrant workers from CIS countries with expired migration cards in the village of Bolshegrivskoe in Omsk, Russia.

In Jan. 2010, Grigoryan offered border guards a bribe in exchange for an entry stamp in the passports of citizens of Uzbekistan and to issue the appropriate immigration documents, according to the press office of the regional prosecutor’s office in Omsk.
