Bride Elena De Angelis’ wedding dress has entered the record books for having the world’s longest veil.
A whopping 3km (1.86 miles) long, it took dozens of seamstresses several months to create, reports the Mirror.
Elena wed in Italy on Thursday, with scores of helpers needed to help keep the veil off the ground.
Some 600 people were required to carry the white silk garment as it stretched down the road behind the bride.
The extraordinary design certainly caught the imagination of the residents of Naples, as large crowds gathered to get a glimpse of it.
Designed by Gianni Molaro Campania, the veil was made from 3.7 miles (5.95 km) of material and measured two metres in width. It has now entered the Guiness Book of World Records.
