In the latest world ranking list (issued today), the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (International Federation of Association Football, but more commonly known as FIFA) ranked Armenia’s national football team (with 608 points) 46 out of a total of 203 teams.
Though Armenia dropped two spots in this month’s ranking, it’s important to note that the small ex-Soviet republic actually moved up 27 spots in last month’s ranking.
The top five teams in this month’s ranking are Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Uruguay and Brazil (in that order).
The next FIFA World Ranking list will be published on Nov. 23, 2011.
