Aftershocks from Sunday’s earthquake continue to be felt in the last 12 hours in Turkey’s eastern regions, their number reaching nearly eight dozen. Some of the shocks were quite powerful: from a magnitude of 4.5 to 4.8.
Note, apart from the Van region, aftershocks have been felt also near the Turkey-Iran, as well as the Turkey-Syria border. As reported by international seismic monitoring services, weaker shocks have been registered in the western part of Turkey, as well as in Greece, the Mediterranean Sea, Macedonia and Bosnia. The magnitude of the quake in Macedonia was 3.2, while in Bosnia it was 3.5.
