Armenia to Deliver Humanitarian Assistance to Turkey on Friday

The aircraft transporting humanitarian assistance goods for quake victims from Armenia to the Turkish city of Izmir will take flight tomorrow, on Oct. 28, according to the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations’ official website.

Note, on Oct. 27, Armenia received a disaster assistance request from Turkey through the Turkish Red Crescent Society and the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC).

The Armenian government will be delivering 40 tons of cargo to Turkey, including tents, sleeping bags, blankets and bedding.
