According to the State of World Population 2011, a report published by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the world’s population will officially hit seven billion on Oct. 31, 2011, when the 7 billionth baby will be born — in Artik, Armenia.
The UNFPA office in Armenia and the National Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology will be organizing a press visit to the Artik maternity ward to greet the milestone baby.
According to a press release, the child will be born between 10 am and 3 pm.
