RA Consul General Garik Israyelian met with Batumi mayor Robert Chkhaidze on Oct. 27 in the Georgian seaside resort town of Batumi.
Outlining Batumi’s development prospects, Chkhaidze emphasized municipal authorities’ willingness to broaden cooperation in the culture, economy and tourism sectors with Republic of Armenia state agencies and private businesses.
The parties discussed prospects for developing trade and cultural ties, opportunities for qualitative progress in the tourism sector, as well as several other issues of mutual interest, according to a press release issued by the Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
