Aircraft Delivering Earthquake Relief to Turkey Crashed on Runway

Georgian and Kyrgyz aircraft, delivering humanitarian aid to Turkey following the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Turkey’s Van region last month, clashed at Erzrum airport, reports Itar-Tass news agency.

The Georgian aircraft was on the runway at the time when the Kyrgyz aircraft that was landing crashed into it. There were no crew members on board the Georgian aircraft, but the airplane itself was seriously damaged.
