A meeting of the council governing the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program chaired by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan took place today. Addressing the only item on the agenda, the council elected Ara Hovsepyan as the Executive Director of the the state non-commercial organization implementing the North-South Road Corridor investment program.
Fifteen applications had been submitted for the vacant executive director position, reads a statement issued today by the Government of Armenia.
Note, the North-South Road Corridor Program, partially funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aims to upgrade Armenia’s transportation links with Iran and Georgia to international standards.
