Armenia, Azerbaijan Foreign Affairs Met with 4 OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs

Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian on Dec. 5 met with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Elmar Mammadyarov, on the sidelines of the 18th OSCE Ministerial Council in Vilnius, Lithuania. The parties were joined by OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs Bernard Fassier, Robert Bradtke, and Igor Popov, as well as Jacques Faure, who will be succeeding Fassier as the French co-chair, and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

According to a statement issued by Armenia’s foreign ministry, the parties addressed matters related to the the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Also on the agenda was possibly approving a joint statement on the Karabakh conflict within the scope of the OSCE Ministerial Council.
