Natural gas expert Artur Ghazaryan, who, speaking to local daily Chorrord Inqnishkhanutyun (“Fourth Self-Authority”), raised concerns on the services offered by ArmRusGasProm, particularly expressing doubt on the quality of the natural gas, recently received a court summons, reports Chorrord Inqnishkhanutyun.
ArmRusGasProm, a subsidiary of the Russian company Gazprom, has launched a lawsuit against Artur Ghazaryan for spreading information that defames the company’s business reputation.
According to information received by the paper, the court has approved the proceedings in the ArmRusGasProm suit.
Asked whether there’s a demand for financial compensation, head of the ArmRusGasProm public relations department Shushan Sardaryan said she was not aware of the details of the suit, though if necessary she is ready to provide explanations on the case.
The court sessions will take place in the city of Etchmiadzin, and the judge assigned to the case is Naira Grigoryan, with whom, along with her father and brother, Artur Ghazaryan had problems in the not too distant past connected to a piece of land, reports the paper.
