The force ensuring steady development in Russia today is Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin (pictured), said Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, responding to a journalist’s question in parliament yesterday as to who he’d like to see as Russia’s next president. The prime minister mentioned that he is expressing his personal opinion on the matter.
“We have a stake in there to be stability and steady development in Russia. It’s no secret that whatever happens in Russia has its effect on our economy, on our social life, on our public life. From this point of view, I think, you’ll agree that the force ensuring steady development in Russia today is Putin and his party,” said Tigran Sargsyan.
Vladimir Putin’s victory in the upcoming March presidential election is in Armenia’s best interest, he added.
