Gurgen Arsenyan’s United Labour Party Joins Prosperous Armenia Party

At the 85th congress of the United Labour Party (MAK) today, party leader Gurgen Arsenyan announced that his party will be running in the upcoming May 6 parliamentary elections on a joint party list with the Prosperous Armenia Party (a junior partner in the ruling coalition). Present at the congress was Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) leader, notorious tycoon Gagik Tsarukyan and other party members including former foreign minister Vartan Oskanian, who recently joined the party ranks.

Gagik Tsarukyan welcomed the MAK’s decision, expressing hope that BHK and MAK, together, will be able to justify and double the trust people’s trust in political parties and together they can implement their plans.
