Storm in Tashir and Artik: Some Roads Difficult to Pass

According to information acquired at 8 am this morning, interstate and local roads, as well as mountain passes in the country for the most part are open to road traffic.

The Berd-Jambarak road and Selim mountain pass are closed.

The Aragyugh-Buzhakan, Mantash-Alagyaz, Gyumri-Jajur-Spitak, and Ashotsk-Bavra roads are difficult to pass.

There’s a storm in the Tashir and Artik regions.

Some of the roads in the Noyemberyan, Stepanavan, Dilijan, Hrazdan and Ararat regions are covered with ice.

According to RA Ministry of Transport and Communication, work is underway to improve road conditions. The ministry also advises drivers to have their vehicles fitted with winter tires.
