Actor Vardan Petrosyan, who was arrested on Nov. 9, today was taken to Qancor Cardiovascular Medical Centre, where he is being examined, the actor's attorney, Nikolai Baghdasaryan, told Epress.am earlier today.
According to the attorney, Petrosyan was moved because his health condition deteriorated. The actor has had heart problems in the past; now his health has worsened.
Baghdasaryan also said there's no news in changing the measure of restraint handed down to his client by the court. Recall, Petrosyan is accused of causing an automobile accident on Oct. 20, which injured three and killed two. Petrosyan himself was injured and underwent surgery. He is being charged under RA Criminal Code Article 242 Section 3 ("Breach of traffic or vehicle operation rules which by negligence caused the death of two or more persons").
