Serzh Sargsyan Accepted Armenian Government’s Resignation

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today adopted a decision to accept the resignation of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

"Guided by Article 55 Section 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and on the basis of the resignation presented by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan, I hereby decide

1. to accept the resignation of the Government of the Republic of Armenia;

2. to members of the Government of the Republic of Armenia: to continue to fulfill their obligations until a new government is formed; and

3. this decree enters into force from the moment it is signed," reads the presidential decree.
