Armenian PM’s Flight to Belarus Cost the State Budget 24 Thousand Euros: Press

Government delegation led by Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan traveled From Yerevan to Grodno, Belarus, with Georgian Airways. As reported by local “Zhoghovurd” newspaper, on September 4 the Armenian government signed an agreement with the Georgian company on the organization of the flight, and paid EUR 24 thousand (more than AMD 13 million) from the state budget. According to the explanatory notes enclosed to the agreement, the flight had to be organized urgently, and local companies were unable to do it.

On September 7, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan-led delegation traveled to Grodno, Belarus, to attend the September 8 meeting of the EEU Intergovernmental Council.
