At Least One Killed, Six Injured in Yerevan Bus Explosion

At least one person was killed and six people were injured after a passenger bus exploded in the Armenian capital of Yerevan Monday evening, the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. 

The blast, the cause of which is still unknown, took place at approximately 10:00 pm local time on Halabyan street, a residential area not far from the center of Yerevan. 

Those injured, among them a 37-year-old pregnant woman and three teenagers, were rushed to Armenia Medical Center in critical condition. Investigation is looking into the circumstances of the accident.
