Armenia’s law enforcement authorities have arrested on Wednesday the owner of a heavy truck that transported the gunmen to the Erebuni police building crashed into its fence during the attack that left one policeman dead and several others wounded, the Armenian service of RFE/RL (Azatutyun.am) reports.
The truck owner, Khachatur Gichyan, is a Founding Parliament supporter. His lawyer, Tigran Sargsyan, told Azatutyun.am that Gichyan was formally charged with illegal possession and transportation of arms and remanded in pre-trial custody on Wednesday.
