Three Soldiers Killed, One Wounded in Karabakh

Three servicemen of the Nagorno-Karabakh defense army were killed and another one was seriously wounded at around 7pm on Tuesday in a mine explosion at a northeastern military unit. the NKR defense ministry said in a statement.

The three killed servicemen were 22-year-old Gegham Zakaryan, 19-year-old Sargis Abrahamyan and 20-year-old Sargis Melikyan; the condition of 19-year-old soldier Narek Hoveyan is assessed as heavy, the statement said, adding that an investigation is currently underway to establish the circumstances of the incident.
