Hail Continues to Damage Crops in Various Regions in Armenia

As a result of hail that fell on Jun. 6 around 7 pm, crops in the village of Krashen in Shirak marz (province) were ruined, while the hail that fell on Jun. 7 from 7 to 7:40 pm destroyed fruit orchards and other cultivated lands in the city of Talin and the surrounding villages of Getap, Tlik, Tatul, Katnaghbyur, Davtashen, Verin Sasunashen, Verin Bazmaberd, Irind, Arteni, Metsadzor, Otevan and Dian in Aragatsotn marz, reports the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Emergency Channel information center.

A committee has been formed to determine the extent of the damage.

Recall, in recent days, hail has destroyed crops in villages in Armavir, Lori and Syunik as well.
