Detained Activist Armen Ohanyan Believes NSS Want to Involve Him as a Witness

Local activist, writer and member of public initiative group “The Army in Reality” Armen Ohanyan was called in for questioning by the National Security Service (NSS) investigations department in connection with a case on supplying fake high school diplomas, head of the NSS press office Ardzvin Baghramyan told Epress.am.

Recall, Ohanyan was picked up by police with the Main Department Combating Organized Crime from his home this morning. Soon after the young man was released.

“The name of one of my close friends is mentioned in that case and I suppose that they thought since he’s a good friend of mine I might know something. I am assuming they want to involve me as a witness. At 4 pm, I’m going to go there with my attorney to find out why they had detained me,” Ohanyan said.
