Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on April 22 appointed two more ministers in the new government. Hasmik Poghosyan will continue her post as Minister of Culture, and Gagik Beglaryan will continue his position as Minister of Transport and Communication.
There was a change in the Ministry of Economy. Vahram Avanesyan was replaced by National Assembly MP Karen Chshmarityan, who was the Minister of Trade and Economic Development from 2000 to 2007.
Earlier, retaining their positions in the news government were Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian, and Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritzyan. Appointed as Chief of Government Staff was Davit Harutyunyan.
