Over Half a Million Armenia Citizens Registered for Russian Federal Migration Service

The number of Republic of Armenia citizens that registered for migration in the territorial organs of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Government is more than half a million, reports local daily Zhoghovurd. 

The newspaper reports that according to official figures, last year, 587,069 Republic of Armenia citizens were registered. Of these, 145,122 received temporary residence permits, while 16,550 received Russian citizenship.

In 2012, fewer Republic of Armenia citizens were granted Russian citizenship (13,176).
