Armenian citizens will soon be given the opportunity to travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran visa-free, according to a draft agreement included in the agenda of a July 2 sitting of the Armenian Government.
The agreement between Armenia and Iran on the abolition of visas is aimed at boosting the bilateral relations between the countries, strengthening mutually beneficial economic, trade and other ties, the draft reads.
Armenian and Iranian citizens will be allowed to enter, to exit, and to transit through the two countries without a visa and stay there for up to 90 days within a 180-day period, according to the document.
