Japanese electronics, IT and communications company Toshiba and local Armenian telecommunications company Ucom have announced a joint offer for clients in Armenia.
Ucom Director Hayk Yesayan recently stated that Toshiba laptops imported to Armenia from Europe will be available to Ucom clients to purchase in monthly payments of 11,500 AMD (approximately $32 USD) for a two-year period.
Toshiba Europe General Manager for CIS and Baltic countries Igor Snitko said that “it’s not always that Armenia imports high-quality products”; however, in this case, the imported Toshiba notebooks are so durable that they can be thrown from one meter high with no damage to the machine.
“We would like Armenian consumers to believe that this market is important for international producers, and Toshiba in particular,” said Snitko.
