It’s likely that the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will purchase all of Georgia’s portion of the oil pipeline, including the North-South pipeline connecting Russia and Armenia said SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, reports AZE.az, quoting ANS TV.
According to Abdullayev, the company is interested in acquiring all of Georgia’s gas and oil pipelines.
“Azerbaijan’s oil company plans to purchase the Georgian portion of the gas pipeline that flows to Armenia from Russia. Georgia’s other gas and oil pipelines also interest us. Currently, we’re discussing these issues,” said the SOCAR President.
